I grew up in Spain around a grandmother who painted all her life. Years later, and after fifteen years calling Colorado home, I picked up a brush myself. I paint in my studio — sometimes working closely from photographs I’ve taken, sometimes letting an image become just a starting point for wherever the painting wants to go.
